Having our home built by Bracken Custom homes was not just an accident. We've lived in the east for many years and love traditional homes, which are not very common in southern Utah. For the last several years we have visited the Southern Utah Parade of Homes and evaluated the quality and Caliber of the builders.

Brackens have a great sense of style blended with high standards and a familiarity and flair for building the classic homes in this area as well as the more traditional homes. They have excellent sub-contractors that consistently do superior and timely work. We feel we've received excellent value for our money, and most importantly, Brackens have been a delight to work with. With all of the changes and tweaks that happen in building a custom home, we have never been told "no - we can't change or fix that" but rather, "let's put our heads together to see what we can do to make it work." We've jokingly told them that the only thing we will miss about building our home is not associating with them on a regular basis! We have recommended these exceptional builders to our best friends and, in just the last couple of months, three of them have chosen the Brackens to build their custom home. What a compliment!

When we bought our property in Springdale in the early 1990's, we had no idea of what kind of home we wanted, or more importantly, how we would get it built. We had never had a home built and didnŐt know anyone in southern Utah. On one of our many visits to Springdale, we saw a beautiful home along the river and loved the style. We were told you were the builder, and there our journey began!

It's been an interesting and exciting adventure! We loved designing our home and always appreciated your input and ideas! Now we are living our dream. Our home is everything we ever wanted and more! In the year 2000 we were recommended to Bud Bracken and Bracken Custom Homes by a friend who had completed his home with Bud several years before. We were impressed with the company and the sub-contractors and contracted with them to custom-build our 6000 plus square foot home Kayenta.

Bud was personally involved during the design process and made numerous suggestions and positive contributions. The construction process went remarkably well, which was important to us since we were living in Florida at the time and could only visit the work site occasionally. We had complete confidence in Bud and he justified this confidence.

We were so pleased with our home and so appreciative of his personal involvement that we took out a quarter page ad in the Spectrum - thanking him and his subs for their work - and telling the citizens of St. George how lucky we are to have a builder of this quality in our community.

During the construction process we developed a close friendship with Bud and his family. This friendship continues today.
